....story of my life.

External Services:
I wish I was a gymnast. (This is the only part of my previous bio that is still true.)

I spent seven years in a bad marriage slowly losing myself. Once I started rediscovering who I was, and getting an idea of who I wanted to be, it all fell apart. And that is okay.

Now I'm nearly 30. Almost divorced. I've blown my life up in the past few months but it has absolutely all been for the best. I left my husband, ran a half marathon, got a new job and a new boyfriend. Strengthened some old friendships and made some new ones. I became a redhead again. I still don't really know who I am but I like what I do know a hell of a lot and I can't wait to find out who I become in the future.

Right now, I read a decent mix of incredibly intelligent books, incredibly lame books, comic books, and fashion magazines.

I drive a minivan and shuttle my kids to school and activities while listening to loud punk rock.

I run for miles and miles, quiet my mind with yoga, and love lifting lots of weight.

I love light wine and dark beer. And coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

Mumford & Sons and New Found Glory and Flogging Molly and Tori Amos soothe my soul and make me feel alive.

I work a pretty fantastic retail management job where I'm the only freak who wears high heels. I feel like people take me more seriously in heels, and I love the sound they make on a tile floor.

I intend to go back to school sometime. I love my job, but being a retail manager is not what I want to do when I grow up.

I love my children and they are so big. I cannot wait to see the amazing people they continue to become as they get even bigger.

Giant dogs are my favorite.

I love my boyfriend, whom I found in the unlikeliest of places. With his love and support, I cannot wait to see where I can go from here.

I am a work in progress. But that's life and I am really, really enjoying it.

Everything is not awesome yet. But it will be.
